My Instagram account which I have been using for a long time was cancelled because of an allegation of Terms and Conditions violation. When I woke up in the morning and tried to login, there were many explanations and statements on my screen that my account was deleted as well as a help page which was not too much detailed explaining how to get my account back.
On this page, there was no information regarding which rights are violated by my account. My account was not frozen or stopped. There was no warning about it either. I couldn’t access my account by any means. It seemed that it was directly deleted.
After I navigated on the help page, I sent the security code which came from an automated robot together with the photo of my face but I couldn’t get any reply.
After I made some research about it, I realized that many people even famous football players encountered such a problem like this before. And nobody could get a reply on this help page. Including for Iniesta, the famous player.
I’m very sorry to have lost my account, photos and friends in such an offensive manner in such a platform where we thought that we securely posted our hundreds of precious photos and shared them with our friends
I think I will not be able to get a reply and assistance from Instagram on this issue. Therefore; I’m quitting using Instagram. I will try different alternatives. Especially the ones which appreciate providing assistance to its users and communicating with them.
Shame on you Instagram..

Uzun yıllardır, severek kullandığım Instagram hesabım Kullanım Şartlarını ihlal ettiğim için kapatılmış. Sabah uyanıp giriş yapmaya çalıştığımda karşımda hesabımın silindiğine dair ibareler ve çokta detaylı olmayan, nasıl geri alacağımı anlatan bir yardım sayfası ile karşı karşıyaydım.
Bu sayfada hesabımın hangi hakları ihlal ettiğinde dair bilgi verilmemişti. Hesabım dondurulmuş veya durdurulmuş değildi. Öncesinde herhangi bir uyarıda almamıştım. Hiçbir şekilde hesaba ulaşamıyordum. Direkt silinmiş gibi görünüyordu.
Yardım sayfalarında dolaştıktan sonra, otomatik bir robottan gelen güvenlik kodunu, suratımıda içeren bir fotoğrafını çekip karşı tarafa göndermeme rağmen bir cevap alamadım.
Yaptığım araştırmalar sonucu bunu onlarca insanın, hatta ünlü futbolcuların yaşadığını bile öğrendim. Ve bu yardım taleplerinden kimse yanıt alamamış. Iniesta adlı ünlü futbolcu dahil.

Yüzlerce fotoğrafımızı güvenerek arşivlediğimiz, arkadaşlarımızla paylaştığımız bu platformdan, böyle çirkin bir şekilde silinmek ve o değeri hiçbir şekilde ödenmeyecek olan fotoğrafları ve arkadaşlarımı kaybettiğim için çok üzgünüm.
Sanırım bende bu konuda Instagram’dan destek alamayacağım. Bu yüzden artık İnstagram kullanmayı bırakıyorum. Daha farklı alternatif uygulamalara yöneleceğim. Özellikle bu tür destek konularına önem veren ve kullanıcıları ile iletişim halinde olan uygulamalara…
